One Piece: 10 Amazing Pieces of Carrot Fan Art You Need To See

Along with envisioning an imaginative world filled with wonder and tragedy, Eiichiro Oda is also quite decent at writing memorable characters. The Straw Hat Pirates are anime royalty, but One Piece's main characters are far from the property's only beloved personalities. Every major saga introduces plenty of new faces who have a habit of sneaking their way into the hearts of fans. One (relatively) recent example is Carrot, a rabbit mink from the island of Zou who has become something of a staple in the series over the last couple of years.

With a unique design and an engaging personality, Carrot has been a great addition to One Piece. Naturally, this means the mink has starred in her share of fan art. Here are just a sample of some of the best ones.

10 A Stroll Through Wano

Art by clockbirds.

Inspired by Carrot's look in the Wano Country Arc, clockbirds' beautiful piece is perfect for autumn. The picturesque setting echoes a version of Carrot who is satisfied with life. While she is a fierce warrior, Carrot can also come across as somewhat innocent, especially during the early stages of the Whole Cake Island Arc.

It is almost like Carrot is inspired by those character archetypes often seen in children's fairy tales, albeit one who wears gauntlets and can transform in the presence of a full moon.

9 Moon Rabbit

Art by Sebijy.

Carrot's base form is cute and popular, but there is something extra special about her Sulong form. As a member of the Mink Tribe, Carrot can transform into a vastly more powerful entity if she gazes at a full moon. While in this state, Carrot seems to embrace her animalistic tendencies, as her fur turns white and becomes far more prominent.

Carrot's Sulong form is majestic and dangerous, two traits echoed splendidly by Sebijy. The fur is especially impressive and detailed.

8 A Touch Of 3D

Art by FlooNasif.

One of the many positives about fan art is that it provides an opportunity to view characters from an entirely new light. For better or worse, One Piece's games or spin-offs might occasionally dabble in alternative art styles, but official releases are obviously limited when it comes to the changes they can implement.

Fan art is under no such restrictions. FlooNasif's Carrot is simultaneously a stunningly accurate and completely different take on the source material. This is Carrot.

7 An Unlikely Crossover

Art by tonyohoho.

While Carrot is this art piece's main character, tonyohoho also took inspiration from Zootopia's Judy Hopps. The result is a Westernized take on One Piece's mink, an element that is enhanced by the painting's warm colors and naturalistic aesthetic.

Although the details in the background, clothing, and gauntlet are spectacular, the highlight of this creation is undoubtedly Carrot's facial features. The character's expressive eyes are loaded with so much life, it seems like Carrot could start speaking at any second.

6 Electrifying

Art by Yun-Xuan.

A skill unique to the Mink Tribe's members is Electro, which adds a touch of electricity to kicks, punches, and headbutts. Equipped with her gauntlets, Carrot is a capable user of Electro, especially once she takes on her Sulong form. If the full moon is out, Carrot becomes an overwhelming opponent who is too quick to see and hits like an electrified truck.

Yun-Xuan brilliantly recreated one of Carrot's most memorable moments in the Whole Cake Island Arc, specifically when she single-handedly attacked Daikfuku's ship and left it without a helm.

5 All In The Fingers

Art by uchihajake.

In a flashback, One Piece revealed that Carrot was part of the Inuarashi Musketeer Squad. While she initially focused on swordplay, she was eventually gifted gauntlets by Pedro, who served as something of a mentor to Carrot. This era is the one that inspired uchihajake's fan art.

The artist used finger painting to create this take on Carrot. The art style is unique but also fitting of the character, and the platform makes Carrot seem like an anime figurine one might find at a convention. Carrot definitely has a couple of those.

4 Carrot Vs Randolph

Art by LESHUU.

Carrot is not to be taken lightly, even if she can occasionally come across as slightly naive. She is a trained fighter and she can be absolutely fierce in the heat of battle. An early showcase of Carrot's fighting ability happens when the crew is being chased by Randolph in the Seducing Woods, prompting the mink to kick into action.

Leshuu's art piece revisits this iconic moment featuring the character, highlighting Carrot's fighting spirit and combat expertise.

3 A Calming Pat On The Head

Art by MavisHdz.

In a fight, Carrot can be overcome by adrenaline. In these moments, few characters compare to Carrot when it comes to viciousness. Luckily for everyone involved, a quick pat on the head is typically enough to calm the rabbit mink down. It is a little detail that adds to the character's charm.

MavisHdz's drawing does a splendid job recreating the art style of the anime, although this piece is slightly crisper. The red cheeks contrasted with Carrot's light fur inject a lot of personality into this drawing.

2 Sulong

Art by DennyFirecry.

Another image focusing on Carrot's Sulong form, Dennyfirecry captures the fighter's dazzling design and intimidating presence splendidly. This form was naturally devised to contrast with Carrot's normal look, as the former could easily pass for a completely different character.

It is difficult to not be transfixed by Carrot's thick hair, while her piercing red eyes pierce right through the viewer. These two elements are present in both the manga and anime, and they are also retained by this art piece.

1 Shush

Art by dekiond.

Carrot's design exemplifies Oda's innate ability to craft instantly memorable characters. A rabbit girl is hardly new territory for anime, but Carrot stands out due to the little ways her humanoid features are touched up by animalistic traits. It is not surprising she has proven so popular with fan artists.

Dekiond does justice to the source material with a confident and impeccable drawing. Carrot steals the show, but the background is also stylish and complementary.
